| IHI has been providing highly efficient and reliable coal-fired boilers which cumulate the state-of-the-art technologies to the world. Through coal-fired boilers completed on the basis of IHI's clean coal technologies formulated by way of long term experiences and researches, we contribute to more effective and economical utilization of relatively low price coals. In the same time, we are supplying the domestic and overseas customers with boilers applicable to a variety of fuels as well as coal, and researches and development are underway to bring into markets oxy-fuel technologies to reduce carbon dioxide emission and a new gasification system and pre-dried technology to make possible good usage of lower rank coal like lignite, in addition to flue gas treatment facilities. We aim at early launch of those technologies. |
